What an Expert Advisor actually does
An Expert Advisor is a program that runs inside MetaTrader 5, attached to a chart. It can read prices, send data to an outside service and, if it is built to, place orders on your account.
That is a lot of trust to hand over, so it is worth knowing what to check before any EA goes near a live account.
